URBAN CIRCUS X CONTINENTAL

The DETECTABLE jacket, developed in collaboration with Continental Automotive France, is the first "innovative design" jacket automatically detectable by car cameras and Lidars.

This jacket provides daytime visibility thanks to its fluorescent technological fabric inserts, as well as nighttime visibility ensured by its reflective technological fabric inserts UrbanReflect(r).

Equipped with all the cycling features developed by Urban Circus over the years, waterproof and breathable, it protects you from the elements while allowing your body to breathe during physical exertion.
  • The reflective part of our jacket is 100% polyester with water repellent treatment. It has reflective inserts up to 350m and a 10,000mm Schmerber waterproof membrane and 5,000 gr/m2/24h MVTR micro-perforated membrane for breathability.

Pollution and city traffic are messy and can alter the properties of our products. This is why we invite you to wash them regularly.
Here are our maintenance tips:
. Machine wash at 30° maximum. Wash your zipped jacket with the reflective side inside.
. Drying in the open air. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Steam iron only, to remove wrinkles. Do not apply an iron to the fabric so as not to melt the waterproof membrane.

HOOD ADAPTED TO THE HELMET

This hood is designed to be worn over your helmet.

VENTILATION ZIPS

Zippers are placed under the arms to increase the ventilation of the jacket during greater physical effort.

DOUBLE OPENING ZIP

This central zip opens from the bottom, allowing you to widely ventilate your jacket while keeping it closed.

ERGONOMIC HOOD

This hood has two bending cords to adjust its depth and opening and thus follow the movements of your head.

The DETECTABLE jacket is ideal for temperatures between 7°C and 15°C, depending on your level of exertion and cold tolerance. Designed as a lightweight mid-season jacket, it can also be worn in winter with good technical underlay. Many of our customers only wear this jacket when cycling or walking, even in the dead of winter!

The DETECTABLE jacket is a waterproof model designed for complete protection in all weathers. It features an ergonomic hood with visor, thumb loops, underarm ventilation zips, a double-zip opening and several functional pockets. The DETECTABLE LIGHT vest, on the other hand, is a very simple version with a chest pocket only, lighter, sleeveless, in breathable mesh, ideal for visibility in mild weather or to complete an outfit already adapted to the weather.What's the difference between the DETECTABLE jacket and the DETECTABLE LIGHT vest?

Detection depends on the design of the jacket. If you're wearing a backpack, it can obscure certain areas, which can reduce the effectiveness of detection by cameras and Lidars. For optimum safety, try to keep yokes visible as much as possible.
